“Wordpress bloggers rejoice!
BigTie! have come up with a fiendishly clever tool for your wordpress blog – A simple one-click solution that turns your blog into a Marketing Machine! When a user registers for your WP site, they are immediately added to your Mad Mimi audience. Hooray BigTie!” — From the MadMimi Loud Report Newsletter

It’s been a crazy evening since that newsletter went out. This has been our busiest sales day yet and I’ve just now finished all of the open support tickets. An interesting note, all of the support tickets today were caused by hosting companies with either broken installs of the Ioncube loaders or hosts that didn’t have Ioncube installed at all. In this day and age, how can a company as big as Godaddy have a broken install of Ioncube?

That amazes me. For the record, BigTie! works best with MediaTemple, Mosso, Dreamhost and VPS.net.

If you are using Godaddy search google for some good howto documents on installing your own Ioncube loaders.

Wow, we worked from 10am to 10:30pm today on our project, now called StatsBragger. StatsBragger is system for recording scores in competive events; both athletic and non (football, hockey, competitive eating, roller derby, chess, beer pong, whatever…) StatsBragger will also allow you to then share your wins, losses, victories and defeats with the world through a facebook app, a wordpress widget and possible other methods.

Milestones today:

Refined scope and refocused goals for the weekend.

Created future expansion roadmap to minimize feature creep.

Developed logos and started artwork

Wrestled the Kohana PHP framework to its knees and made it work (Damn you James for suggesting this framework, the doc’s leave ALOT to be desired)

Got a name! StatsBragger

Got a Domain Name! StatsBragger.com

Completed design of the StatsBragger database and populated it with testing data.

added opt-in list for pre and post launch communications

created facebook group and began marketing campaigns

Tomorrow we need to bring everything together and make it work. We will launch. There are quite a few things we need finish up but I’m confident we’ll get it done. Our team rocks and we will launch on time.

Other items of interest from Day 2

Giggidy! Giggity! The LoneyTrucker team has rebranded themselves as GeeSpots!

I found a sneak peak of one of their whiteboards on the twitter stream. Too all of you that think I’m crazy, when was the last time you used phrases like “Peter Meter” and “Pleasure Map” in a professional context.

Some of our collaborators and competitors at Startup Weekend Detroit 2009

This is the place where businesses are born… Atleast one of the rooms. What this picture doesnt show is the 30-40 teenage girls dancing the hustle in front of the hard rock cafe in the lobby of the building.

After a couple weeks of coding and testing, Twitanium has gone live!

Twitanium- Put the viral power of Twitter Marketing to work for you!

Who else is tired of hearing about “ground breaking Twitter marketing techniques” only to find out that the product being advertised is nothing short of out-and-out spam? No one wants another auto-follow tool or Twitterbot.

Twitanium doesn’t auto-follow and it isn’t spam. Twitanium is permission marketing automated and amplified!

So what is it?

Twitanium is an application that acts as a gateway allowing you to give away a free “premium” download to your site visitors in exchange for following you on Twitter, reTweeting your marketing message or both.

To see Twitanium in action check out the Twitanium Method Demo

Twitanium is easy to use and includes full video install documentation and only requires very minor user configuration. Everything else is automatic! As Ron would say, “set it and forget it!” As Vince would say, “you’re going to love my nuts!” But I say try out the Twitanium Method demo and you’ll realize without a doubt the power of Twitter Marketing!

Check out the Demo tonight and when you realize just how powerful Twitanium is head over to Twitanium.com and get your own copy for only $35!
